The servicing of your automatic gate system is essential and should be carried out ideally once a year, remembering that they are being opened and closed on a very frequent basis. The heavier the gate, the more work the motors and/or parts are subjected to.
Systems can be kept to optimum condition with a yearly maintenance visit where as gate systems that are left untouched and simply worked day after day will wear and reach the end of their operational life much quicker, often resulting in a complete reinstallation of the automation system. We know this, as we have many customers for whom we’ve had to replace their systems who now are happy to receive a maintenance visit once a year to ensure a longer operational life.
