We had Hampshire Fencing recommended to us and have now used them for multiple jobs as they have done a quality job every time. We've used them for a very large fencing project, building new vegetable raised beds and ground works for a summerhouse and greenhouse. Pricing is fair, attention to detail is very good and the guys often go above and beyond to get the job done. No hesitation in recommending them.

HFS installed 3 gate posts, a pair of 5 bar electric gates and a single pedestrian gate. Mark is obviously a craftsman and everything was installed with a great attention to detail such as ensuring that the electric mechanisms were not visible from the outside. When there was a problem they were quick to come and rectify the problem. We were extremely pleased with the workmanship and would certainly recommend this company to anyone. 

We are delighted with the gates.  They are beautifully made and finished and a credit to your team.  Please feel free to take photos if you want them in your catalogue. The installation was very tricky, as I expect you have heard, due to the brick pillar being out of true.  The lads had to really work hard to make the gates look right and it took them a long while to get it to everyone’s satisfaction. We cannot speak highly enough of the team.  They were very polite and professional.  They wanted to get it right, not just get it done, and went the extra mile to do so.  You can be proud of your guys and we would not hesitate to recommend HFS Gates to anyone.

We have enormous, heavy (electric) Victorian gates which had been lurching badly for some time. One of the gates had pulled out of its foundation. HFS Ltd visited us promptly and gave us a very detailed explanation and competitive quote for the work required to put the gates right and to bring them up to current safety requirements. They completed the work extremely conscientiously and cheerfully, despite the weight of the gates and some atrocious weather! They did a super job and we definitely recommend them. Thanks guys!

HFS made and installed a pair of large automatic gates and a side pedestrian gate. They were friendly, helpful and came across as really knowing what they were doing. They were not the cheapest quote we had but we are glad we went with them and would recommend them to others.

I don't normally write reviews unless the supplier has been exceptional (or rubbish). These guys were very professional and thorough from the start. We had several companies come and quote for the job and these guys were the only ones who demonstrated that they really knew what they were talking about. For example - every other company 'guessed' (sometimes incorrectly) where the power was to be supplied from. These guys went to extra length to establish EXACTLY where the cables had been laid by the builders and what was required to install. Not only did they provide a competitive quote - the engineer who installed it was professional, polite and friendly at all times. The only negative was that the job took longer than expected due to weather conditions and the installers daughter being unwell, but you cannot blame them for that as these things happen. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them - an excellent job from start to finish.

We moved into a house with electric gates already installed. They stopped working and we called HFS to come and have a look. We had no paperwork or any information about the gates. HFS got them working but we asked them to upgrade our gates to conform to current regs. In doing so, they encountered numerous issues with the existing setup, but were unfailingly positive and did not stop until they had found a solution. The gates now work perfectly and have all the necessary safety features incorporated. They are a great team and very friendly and I would not hesitate in using them again. 

My gates had been badly installed by a "cowboy". HFS sorted them out quickly and efficiently. It is a complicated system which they got to grips with well. They took trouble and I would certainly recommend them. 

The pair of iroko gates that you made for us are fantastic and look beautiful. The craftsmanship is exceptional Everybody who has seen them say the same.

The final results are excellent the gates look great and everything works really well.
